The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Betriber&Emwelt platform, organises an online session how to take the chemical risks in companies into account and the possibilities to limit them. This online event will take place on the 14th October 2020 from 14:00 to 15:20.
Chemical risks, very often present in companies regardless of their size and activities, are, in many situations, underestimated by the actors working in the field. Uncontrolled exposure to chemicals is a frequent cause of pathologies of various severities. It can eventually lead to the occurrence of disabling occupational diseases, whose consequences are directly and indirectly the responsibility of the employer.
The REACH&CLP Helpdesk Luxembourg offers this information session to help companies to comply with their obligations and to increase awareness amongst their employees on the importance of an objective chemical risk assessment. This conference is intended to be practical and will attempt to provide basic notions that are directly applicable in the daily life of a company.
As usual, the participants will also have the opportunity to ask their questions to the experts.
This event is addressed to any company whose activities require the use of chemical substances and who wish to have basic information that is accessible and understandable. No prior knowledge in the field of chemistry or occupational health and safety is required.
