A new substance identified as substance of very high concern
The European Commission published a decision to identify one new substance as substance of very high concern (SVHC) (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/2013).
This decision concerns the 1.1,7,7-trimethyl-3-(phenylmethylene)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one (3-benzylidene camphor) identified as a substance of very high concern pursuant to Article 57(f) REACH due to its endocrine disrupting properties with probable serious effects to the environment.
