The results of a survey collecting citizens’ opinion on environment are now available.

This new Eurobarometer survey found that more than three-quarters of citizens believe the environment has a direct effect on their daily life. More than half of the respondents say that environmental protection from hazardous chemicals is too low and should be increased.
The survey was carried out in spring 2024 in the 27 EU Member States, collecting opinions from over 26 000 respondents.
