The European Commission has granted authorisations for five different uses related to three substances. The authorisations, with review period dates given in brackets, are for:

• Two uses of chromium trioxide - Abloy Oy (21 September 2029; 31 December 2019);
• Two uses of 1,2 –dichloroethane (EDC) - BASF SE (22 November 2029); and
• One use of acids generated from chromium trioxide and their oligomers - Robert Bosch GmbH (21 September 2029).
