Commission grants authorisation for 1,2-dichloroethane (EDC)
The European Commission has granted an authorisation to Laboratoires Expanscience, for the use of 1,2-dichloroethane (EDC) as a process and extracting solvent in the manufacture of plant-derived pharmaceutical bioactive ingredients.
The review period for the authorisations will expire on 22 November 2029.
