ECHA is looking for comments on 13 applications for authorisation covering 17 uses of:

• chromium trioxide used in functional chrome plating, chromic acid anodising of aluminium spars, hard chromium coating, etching and electroplating of substrates;
• 4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated used as a detergent in the purification of lapidated OspA protein subsequently used for manufacturing of a lyme disease vaccine candidate;
• 4-nonylphenol, branched and linear, ethoxylated used for the manufacture of glass fibre articles for critical composite helicopter parts.

The deadline for comments is 6 April 2021.
