ECHA’s advice on new non-animal test methods

ECHA has published advice to registrants on how to use the new in vitro methods for skin irritation and corrosion, serious eye damage, skin sensitisation and genotoxicity. All these endpoints are relevant for the REACH 2018 deadline and ECHA wants to remind registrants on their obligations to use in vitro methods in order to reduce the need for testing chemicals on animals.
