Layman’s report – Discover the results of LIST's environmental research

On the 30th of September, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), supported by the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity (MECB) and the Environment Administration (AEV), published its Layman’s report. This publication makes the environmental research carried out by the LIST over almost ten years accessible to Luxembourg citizens.

More than twenty research, innovation and monitoring projects, including the REACH&CLP Helpdesk Activities, have been selected and brought together in a report to highlight the various initiatives undertaken to preserve the environment and public health while ensuring a strong economy. The report presents three major environmental themes covered by LIST: biodiversity monitoring, water monitoring and management, and research support for environmental policies and Luxembourg businesses.

This publication is available below online here in French and English. Readers can find out in a concise manner what environmental pressures this research addresses, how it is conducted, the results already obtained, and future prospects.

On the occasion of the publication of this report, the Helpdesk also had the opportunity to present, in a video (available below), how Luxembourgish businesses can rely on the REACH&CLP Helpdesk’s guidance and support to comply with chemical legislation.
