Feedback on the online session on the restriction of short chained chlorinated paraffines (SCCP)

On 4th July 2024, the REACH&CLP Luxembourg Helpdesk organised an online conference dedicated to the REACH restriction of short chained chlorinated paraffines (SCCP).

The REACH&CLP Luxembourg Helpdesk organised this online session to remind and raise the awareness of companies about their obligations regarding SCCPs. These obligations are set out in the regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP).

This session was an occasion to present to the participants on what POP substances are and which regulation is in place. This was also the occasion to present the regulatory evolution of SCCPs and how they are regulated under POP regulation.

This online session also served as a platform for participants to ask their questions to the experts from the Helpdesk and the environmental agency.

The presentations and video are available on the event's dedicated page.
