ECHA’s Committees for Risk Assessment (RAC) and Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC) will take extra time to conclude their assessment of the proposed restriction on lead in outdoor shooting and fishing in the EU.

To ensure that the scientific assessment of the proposal and the information submitted during the stakeholder consultation is thorough the final opinion of SEAC is planned for adoption in December 2022.
