In the October meeting of the Member State Committee, it was decided to identify triphenyl phosphate as a substance of very high concern (SVHC), which will be added to the Candidate list in November 2024.

To reduce testing on vertebrate animals, it also approved of the alternative testing method HYBIT to be used as the standard information requirement where applicable under REACH.
