Following the evaluation of the Annex XV dossier and once the substance has been identified as a SVHC, it is added to the Candidate List of substances of very high concern for Authorisation. The aim of publishing this list is to inform the general public and industry that these substances are candidates for possible inclusion in the Authorisation List. The inclusion of the substance into the Candidate List gives rise to immediately applicable additional obligations as provided in Articles 7, 31 and 33 of the REACH Regulation.
